American Women, American Citizens: 1920-1948

American Women, American Citizens: 1920-1948 will engage participants in groundbreaking new scholarship, dialogue with leaders in the field, primary source research, and meaningful curriculum projects to examine the ways in which a diverse array of women redefined what it meant to be an American in the 1920s-1940s. This institute will include virtual and residential pieces with the goal of providing an immersive experience in New York City, followed by supports that will help participants bring the work back into the classroom.
